What does that look like? We go to where people, loved ones, neighbors, are in life – emotionally, and spiritually in their physical locale. We enter their lives. We build relationships. We genuinely care about them and their eternal destiny. Our aim should be to introduce them to Jesus. So when Jesus gives us His invitation to “Come! Follow Me,” we can take up our cross and follow Him.

The Gospel of Judas
Just prior to His betrayal, Jesus prayed to the Father, “While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your Name. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled (John 17:12).
Son of perdition highlights Judas’ destined path of downfall and betrayal of Jesus, which ultimately led to his condemnation.
God’s Heartbeat
However, because God is present throughout His Book, it is life changing, inspiring, and filled with truth that gives hope and encouragement to those who believe and consequences for those who rebel. It has a heartbeat. God’s heartbeat!
