The Gospel of Judas

Just prior to His betrayal, Jesus prayed to the Father, “While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your Name. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled (John 17:12).
Son of perdition highlights Judas’ destined path of downfall and betrayal of Jesus, which ultimately led to his condemnation.

Oren

The creator stripped Oren’s beauty from him. For the first time in his life, Oren felt naked. All his flaws that he had guarded so religiously were exposed. He began to feel shame. He wanted to hide, but there was no place to run; no place to hide.

The Last Supper

“Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me.”  Astonishing words that grabbed everyone’s attention!  Perplexed and filled with sorrow, several of the disciples asked, “Lord, is it I?”  Then, Judas asked, “Rabbi, is it I?”  Jesus locked eyes with Judas  ~ one had a secret and only the Other knew what it was.   “You have said it,” Jesus said.
