Answers to prayer are always a delight, amen? You may recall in my blog from last week, “Prayer in the Midst of Distress,” that I received a text from an out-of-town friend for her granddaughter who was diagnosed with Lymphoma and would have to have chemo 23 hours a day for 5 days then two weeks off and start over for 5 rounds.

Called out of Darkness – Part I
I was terrified of the thick darkness. I heard the siren as only a faint sound like it was far, far off in the distance. I wanted to get to that sound, but it was so dark, I did not know where it was. Thick darkness engulfed me, and I could barely hear the sound anymore. Death’s door was opened.

The next day Rene’ stopped over on her way to work. She put her hand on my shoulder and looked into my eyes. “We have today. Let’s find joy in it.”
