The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste!

Twenty-two-year-old Jesse, a college student, sent this text to his mother while he was in class.  “I’m learning that I’m a girl if I feel like it, and mothers and fathes are no longer relevent, and if things don’t go the way I want them to, it’s because I’m oppressed.  Yay college.”         

Courage of a Hero

One afternoon, they had a simple devotional service and prayed asking the Lord for a miracle.  They tried to nap.  Eddie leaned back and pulled his military cap over his eyes.  Time dragged on.  All he could hear was the slap of the waves against the raft.

Man on the Run

The man knew of the violence in this city and figured the people were so bad, they didn’t deserve to hear the warning of the pending disaster.  Let them die, he thought. Because there was nothing  appealing about his assignment or the people to whom he was to deliver the warning, he secretly decided to forgo the assignment  altogether.
