The passerby thought about their answers and concluded that the first bricklayer laid brick because that was his job. Nothing more – just a job to earn money.
The second bricklayer laid brick because he had a goal – to build a building as something to show for his time at a job.
The third bricklayer laid bricks with his eyes toward heaven.

When God is Silent, What Then?
Do you remember back in school days when the teacher distributed a test, placed it face-down on each desk, and said, “No talking. This is a test.” And for the remainder of the hour the teacher never said a word and the students dared not to speak. The classroom filled with utter silence.
Fear of the Unknown
Life can look so deceiving on social media and through our filtered ideas of what everyone else is doing. But when we learn to view life with clarity and purpose, we find our reason for living. It’s not for likes, or comments, or written words on a wall.
