Called out of Darkness – Part I

I was terrified of the thick darkness. I heard the siren as only a faint sound like it was far, far off in the distance. I wanted to get to that sound, but it was so dark, I did not know where it was. Thick darkness engulfed me, and I could barely hear the sound anymore. Death’s door was opened.

Anticipation

When the angels were gone, the shepherds made haste to go to Bethlehem. “The King was born in a stable?” “I thought He would be born in a palace.” “I thought the trumpet would sound, but angels are even better!” the shepherds huffed to one another, as they ran to see the Christ child.

Time Will Tell

I knew I had to do something with what Carol shared with me, but a lie had been planted in my mind, “If you believe God, he will send you to Africa to be a missionary.”  I did not want to go to Africa. And for the next two weeks, Satan badgered, and Jesus pursued.
