We may tremble with apprehension as we witness Bible prophecy being fulfilled right before our eyes but hear the firm but assuring words of the Lord, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

Pastor Jared Carlson said, “Jesus died to harmonize the full wrath of God’s justice with the full mercy of God’s compassion.” To which I add, “It is better to desire things of heaven than to dread things of earth.”
The Gate
The gatekeeper said, “You have come to my gate, but I do not have a key to open it. Have you not heard that going to church, even if you attended regularly, is not enough?”
And with those words ringing in his ears, the old man became sorrowful as he retreated from what he thought would be the right gate to heaven.
