Enough is Enough!

We parked our van and boarded the ark walking up a long, gradual ramp much like the animals boarded two by two in Noah Ark. We were in the ark about ten minutes when we heard a loud, deep boom of a heavy door closing. I imagined it sounded like what Noah and his household must have heard when God Himself closed the door after all were boarded.

Kingdom on the Horizon

Symbolically speaking, a horizon symbolizes a boundary between the known and the unknown that includes both limits and infinite possibilities. It represents hope and opportunity. The eastern horizon where the sun rises is a powerful symbol for new beginnings, hope, and the start of a new day. Colossians 3:1 says it this way, “Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes in the morning.”

Lost and Found

I had a similar experience last Friday, except I found something that was not lost. My story began when on the day before my grandson’s wedding, I still had not found anything special to wear to his wedding.
