The Atheist’s View vs. the Christian’s View

The Atheisit's View vs. the Christian ViewDo you ever think about the extreme differences between the atheist’s view and the Christian’s view? The Atheist's View vs. the Christian's View

An atheist is one who denies the existence of God. A Christian is one who believes in God.  One obvious
difference is that ‘atheist’ does not need to be capitalized because it is not connected with a religion,
whereas, ‘Christian’ should be capitalized because it is associated with Jesus Christ.  With that being said, I  would like to consider the ramifications of both the atheist’s world view and the Christian’s world view.

The Atheist’s View ~

I live my life according to these beliefs

God does not exist.

It is just foolish to think

That there is a God with a cosmic plan

That an all-powerful God brings redemption and healing to the pain and suffering in the world

Is a comforting thought, however,

it

is only wishful thinking

People can do as they please without eternal consequences

The idea that

I am deserving of hell

Because of sin

Is a lie meant to make me a slave to those in power

“The more you have the happier you will be”

Our existence has no grand meaning or purpose

In a world with no God

There is freedom to be who I want to be

But with God

Everything is fine

It is ridiculous to think

I am lost and in need of saving

The Christian’s View ~

Read each line from the bottom to top.

The world views between the atheist and the Christian could not be more diverse.  Choose this day whom you will serve – self or God.  Where will you put your trust, your hope, your confidence for all eternity?  Whatever your choice, God will honor it. If you say, “I don’t believe in God,” He will give you an eternity separated from Him.  Forever.  If you say, “I believe in God,” He will give you eternal life in His presence.  Forever.

Riddle ~

What is greater than God; more evil than Satan; a rich man wants it; a poor man has it; something that does not exist; and if you eat it, you will die.
