Silence in Heaven

And then Jesus, the lion from the tribe of Judah, stepped forward, reached out His nail-scarred hand and took the scroll.  A thunderous chorus erupted from thousands upon thousands of angels, the four living creatures, and the 24 elders saying,  “Worthy, worthy is the Lamb of God who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength, honor and glory and blessing.”

Ask Him

“May I pet him?”  “Yes. of course,” the man replied.  Sally stooped down roughing the little dog behind his ears.  “What’s his name?” she asked.  “Askhim,” he answered.  Sally stopped playing with the dog.  “What is his name?” she asked, not sure if she heard correctly.

What Happens to Our Prayers?

What about the prayers that sometimes do not seem to get past the ceiling?  Could it be because of some sin in our lives?  The writer of Psalm 66 has this to say in verse 18, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, God will not hear.”  So we know, ongoing sin in a believer’s heart can block our prayers.
