While weeding my flower garden, a neighbor may say, “You know you’re just wasting your time, don’t you?” The answer may not be obvious to her, but I can reply with a smile, “It’s therapeutic. I’m learning to persevere and to be patient.”

What Do We Convey by What We Don’t Say?
Does my silent witness, my actions convey the same message as my verbal message does? What do we convey by what we don’t say? Would anybody be stirred to wonder about God by watching our actions?
