Christian Medieval Fiction (Book 1 of 6 in series)
Kingdom's Dawn by Chuck Black

He wondered why his father had trained him for years to master the sword—not exactly a tool of the trade for farmers—but one tragic event initiates a world of revelation.  Only then does he begin to understand his calling—a calling no other man in the entire kingdom of Arrethtrae can fulfill—a calling given him by the King himself.

Kingdom’s Dawn is the first in a 6-book series. It is a riveting medieval parallel to the Bible where good and evil clash. Swords, knights, and battles define these captivating tales that parallel Biblical events from Genesis to Revelation!

Because the Time is Near by John Macarthur

Because the Time is Near

Many Christians view the book of Revelation as mystifying symbolism and striking imagery and may be bewildered by it. For this reason, many believers and church leaders avoid serious study of the book. Some may actually dread the end of time as we know it, but for Christians, the end of the world should be anything but dreadful. It should be something we actually look forward to, because God has told us how it will end. The end of this age will mark the beginning of a new, glorious one in which we will serve and worship Him in sinless perfection. All of this is laid out in the book of Revelation – the only New Testament book that includes a promised spiritual blessing for those who study and apply its message. It should be an essential part of every Christian’s devotional life. After all, Revelation promises blessings to those who read it and adhere to its message.

A Wave From Mama by A. Robert Allen
Historical Fiction
A Wave from Mama by A. Robert Allen

“A Wave From Mama” by A. Robert Allen is the second book of the Slavery & Beyond Series, and is an example of superb writing. Author Allen presented actual history through believable characters in this historical fiction book. He depicted the hatred of the Irish towards the Blacks during the era of the building the Brooklyn bridge, and why the Irish did not want to go to war to fight for the freed blacks. Their fear that the blacks would take their jobs initiated the Draft Riots of New York during the 1800’s. Allen created several believable characters through whom he presented history from different perspectives that are insightful and thought-provoking.
